Wheel Buffing Machine is an automatic machine to remove all rust, high spots, scratches and surface irregularities and makes the surface is almost smooth by removing a very small amount of material in the rim and disc welding area from the wheel.
Based on the size of the wheel, Speed of Main spindle, ID spindle and OD spindle varied with the help of VFD drives connected to the motor. Individual buffing slide position shall be adjusted based on the diameter of wheel.
Pneumatic actuators are used to perform all movements.
Buffing time is programmable through the HMI unit. Sequence of operation is controlled through a PLC.
